Feminist. The definition of a feminist is someone who believes the equality for both men and women. A feminist the was recently recognized in Beyonce’s new song Flawless, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, is a great example of someone who both feminine and a feminist. Which by the way is not the same thing. This website is about her. However it is dedicated to anyone that sees themselves as a feminist. It is for the young women that want be CEO’s without being thought of as overpower or masculine and for the boys that want to dancer without being harassed for being a “sissy” or acting like a girl. On this website you will find an editorial, recipe, digital poster, book review, fairy tale and a birth certificates. Its all about showcasing that you are no less important or amazing than anyone else based on your gender. Chimamanda is a great example of that. We teach girls to shrink themselves, to make themselves smaller. We say to girls, you can have ambition, but not too much. You should aim to be successful, but not too successful. Otherwise, you would threaten the man.

We teach girls shame. Close your legs, cover yourself, we make them feel as though being born female they're already guilty of something. As so, girls grow up to be women who cannot say they have desire. They grow up to be women who silence themselves. They grow to be women who cannot say what they truely think. And they grow up and this the worst thing we do to girls. They grow up to be women who have turned pretence into an art form.
